Lynne holds a B.A. from San Jose State University and has completed graduate coursework at Notre Dame de Namur University in Business Management, Cultural Diversity, and Conflict Management.
David London - President
I am honored to serve as the Board President of ELLIPSE Peninsula AIDS Services. ELLIPSE was our key agency when my partner Steve and I moved into San Mateo County from San Louis Obispo. There were months when we needed the support of the food pantry and the assistance with utility bills. Steve died in 2001. My daughters and I no longer need financial assistance, or the food that the pantry supplies...but many do. I'm here to support my community, my family and all those which ELLIPSE serves.
Rose Renwick - Treasurer
I'm involved at ELLIPSE because of Michael. Michael died before protease inhibitors changed the face AIDS. Michael was a bright and happy soul. I miss him. There are secrets we shared - secrets about family acceptance, the joy of loving friends that were absent in his decline and the humiliation of dieing from a disease that took his beautiful face and strong Italian body and turned it into a hurting, drawn burden that he was blessed to leave in death. Michael died in 1986. The year ELLIPSE was incorporated.
Aurora Olivera - Secretary
I'm a California native, a first generation American Latina, I found support in my sorority at San Jose State University, and know the value of support through the LGBT community. ELLIPSE commitment to prevention and education in the whole community including Latino, Gay, Transgender and straight is why I serve.
Dwight Lytle - Webmaster
As a 20 year survivor of AIDS I know the value of acceptance, the value of a hug, a smile and finding a place that my participation makes a difference. When I walked into ELLIPSE with my roommate in 2005, I didn't expect to find anything other than groceries. I found acceptance, a place to get involved and a way to put my abilities to good use.
Buck Ellis - Member
As a therapeutic specialist and a member of the marketing team at Gilead Sciences, I know the value of community agencies in supporting the emotional and physical well being of persons living with HIV/AIDS. ELLIPSE has been supporting the HIV/AIDS community since 1986. I believe in the work that they do, and hope that my involvement and those of others on the Board of Directors keeps ELLIPSE serving the community for many years to come.
